Rich,
Buy a sheet of gasket paper and get out a copper faced hammer. Put the
sheet over the diff and beat out the gasket on the rims of the surface
to be sealed. Alternatively cut out using scissors, but that is rather
difficult. Use a suitably sized steel ball from a ball bearing or simply
a hammer with a rounded end and tap out the bolt holes.
