Remember, the key here is NEW Dayton wires. If your hubs don't need to be balanced (mine didn't) the new Daytons shouldn't need to be tuned and are already perfectly round. Therefore new high quality tires should be able to be mounted and balanced without any problem. Ron Last year Discount Tire mounted new Kumho tires on new Dayton wires and they ride nice.
