Hi Tadek,
All in all, a pretty nice BN2. It looks like it's undergone at least a
partial restoration
at some point. I noticed:
- the problem with undercoating is you don't know the condition of the
metal underneath.
The undercoating may have preserved the metal, or trapped water and
salt and made
things worse. Hard to tell, but yours looks OK.
- of course, the engine color is not original since the engine has
certainly been rebuilt
at least once
- it looks like the main front crossmember--under the radiator--has been
replaced or
buttressed with some additional metal
- the rear doglegs--in front of the rear wheels--have a little
"spur"--this is common where
they have been replaced (the bottom line should curve slightly and
gracefully up at the rear)
If it runs good, you might want to just tend to the mechanical issues
(gearbox, shocks, etc.)
and drive the heck out of it ;)
