Not every inspector in CA is as focussed as Kenny. We had the local sheriff 
complete the form for us. I had to show him where the I.D. was.  Everything was 
on the up and up, the numbers matched a ten year old white slip (CA discards 
files long before ten years) and the whole thing took about three minutes.
