G'day Tom
That was some years before he was thinking of shoehorning a V8 into a
British car. It was 1955 and after being part of the AH record breaking
team he partnered with Roy Jackson-Moore in a 100S for the Carrera
Panamericana Road Race only to demolish his car in practice against a
road marker. Shelby suffered a broken arm as a result.
