I agree with Earl, what you are describing sounds more severe than an ignition timing issue, weak spark or other ignition, fuel flow, cam timing? I know that akes it more complicated rather than less, butif you rebuilt the engine (unlike a situation where you just changed something on the ignition) everything is suspect, as it has not been tested and proved working right before you made the change.
