Vapor Lock ... auto. fuel boils at various temperatures 100* to 400* this why
you can see vapors coming from your gas tank on a hot day as you refuel it
and you can smell it ...lf your gas in your fuel tank has not been used for
many
years the engine will not start and the fuel has a rotten smell, all the low
temp. gas has long gone , but if you put in fresh gas it will start then it
can run on that old gas , if you have a vapor lock your S.U fuel pump will be
going full speed ... your problem , l dont think its a vapor lock ... Norman
