I have run into the first snag in putting the engine and drive train back
together. I am trying to mate the gearbox to the OD. The main shaft is out
of the gear box so it should slip right into the OD. It goes in all but = -
>. It looks like the small end of the shaft is not going into the bearing
in the OD. Visual inspection shows that the thrust washer is out of the way
and the inner bearing race seems to be centered in the shaft hole.
Any suggestions would be appreciated,
