I was not clear in my post. By saying "get another printer or distributor" I
meant to say that this process should be put out to competitive bid to see
if there is one that will come in with a decent price INCLUDING proper
wrapping. It does not have to be shrink wrap. Some of my other magazines
come with a second heavy cover that is rather like Kraft paper which
protects the real cover underneath.

I figured out a way for you to empower yourself in solving this problem
and have the solution for you too. As I understand it, you have no control
of influence over the printing or distribution processes - just content /
layout. OK - so from now on, add a beautiful topless or completely nude
centerfold in each magazine! That would require the magazine to poly-bagged
for everyone. WA-LA - Problem solved! Magazine (arguably) improved!
Now to figure out a way to help all the old-timers diffentiate their new
poly-bagged HM mag from their Playboys! Oh well, that's a different
problem.
