"Hey Ron,

I'm really curious. What's a "97 DB7" Healey? Inquiring Healey minds
want to know.

-----------------

Bill,
I'm proud of both my British cars. I've noticed over the years that lots of
folks list ALL of their LBCs, sometimes even non-LBCs which are rare or
classic. Although the Aston Martin DB7 is owned by a division of Ford, it
was hand built in England over a 400 hour period. Mine is one of only 450 or
so that came to the US in 1997 and the only light blue convertible that year
(closely matches my BJ8). It is welcomed at British Car Day in San Diego and
as a British car by the Golden Gate Austin Healey Club and will enter the
OpenRoads 2006 meet in Tahoe. Therefore I list it just as others list their
MGs, TRs, Jensen's and other LBCs under their Austin Healey.

They sleep next to each other in the garage and I'm hoping that they'll
produce an offspring. Perhaps that will be the Austin Healey 5000? Mystery
solved. Which is more fun to drive you ask? Apples and oranges. Both are a
blast, wouldn't sell either. The DB7 can do 160mph and is my daily driver.
Let me know if you'd like a picture.
Sincerely,
Ron Davies
