I'll add my name to those who agree with your thoughts. I love this list
and thank everyone who is involved with helping those of us who need the
help. After two years of work my car is almost ready to go back on the road
and I certainly couldn't have done it with out the help of many on this
list. Happy New Year to everyone.

Subject: Year End Thanks for Healey Tech Help
It's that time of the year when we reflect on the significant events and
activities of the past 12 months. With regard to the Healey List and in
keeping with its purpose, the most significant activity during the past year
has been the hundreds of knowledgeable responses provided by the small cadre
of Healey veterans to our requests for technical assistance. (This isn't
meant to slight the importance of the Friday Funnies contributions :-} )
There's a group of about 15 to 20 experienced Healey mechanics and
restoration
experts who regularly weigh in with knowledgeable technical help. And to
each
of them we say "THANKS SO MUCH FOR TAKING TIME TO SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE with
those of us who are either new to the hobby or less mechanically inclined."
And then there is RICH CHRYSLER whose commitment to helping Healey owners on
the List with their technical/restoration questions sets him apart - in
terms
of his time commitment, expertise and response detail. Rich regularly takes
time to respond to multiple technical questions each day. And his responses
always exhibit a high level of expertise and experience. And Rich's
responses
consistently provide a level of detail, often including photos, that few
others take time to provide. I know everyone on the Healey List joins me in
PAYING SPECIAL TRIBUTE AND A BIG THANK YOU TO RICH CHRYSLER for outstanding
service to the Healey Marque and this List.
Happy New Year to all & may your 2006 be filled with many hours of raucous
Healey exhaust note symphonics.
Vrooom vrooom,
John
