In conducting research for my 100-Six web site I was looking at various
contemporary images of BN6 interiors and have come to the following
conclusion
When the BN6 was first introduced it had the BN2/BN4 style seats, with
the thick seat bases and the contrasting piping that runs around the
'ears' of the seat backs. The BN6s appear to have been introduced with
the pad type armrest and not the saddle type, although I would have
imagined if they had the same seats as the BN4 they would have probably
started with same armrest as well.
At some time in their life the new seats were introduced, these are
exactly the same as the same as later 3000s. These can be seen on some
adverts published at the time together with the pad type armrest.
I was just wondering what the official Concours position is regarding
BN6 interiors. Can anyone confirm?
