Hi, I mark off 52.8 feet in my driveway, disconnect the speedometer drive cable from the speedometer push a paper pointer on the end. Then drive the car the 52.8 feet while counting the turns the pointer makes. Multiply by 100 and you have the correct calibration of turn per mile that you need. If it is different then the number on the speedometer face then someone changed the speedometer, rear end or the overdrive with a different ratio unit. Wayne |
