No Taboos that I know of other than the fact that jokes, etc are reserved to
Fridays. Political comments are frowned upon and members must remember that
the list strips attachments automatically for virus and meanie-thingie
protections. I have volunteered to use one of my web sites as a repository
for those of you who wish to spread attachments but that must be done by
submitting them to me via direct email.
Other than that, there are over 300 members of the Healey list and it seems
to follow the 80-20 rule -- that is, 80 percent of the members will be
silent reading the threads and 20 percent will contribute. (throwback to my
marketing days when 20 percent of the customers gave us 80 percent of our
business or something like that -- see what 10 years of retirement does to
brain cells!)
The list does seem to go in fits and starts - weekends like this tend to
keep people away from computers and with friends at BBQ's (No I am not
friendless today, we have a large party next week when the roads will not be
filled with 4th of July celebrants)
