Hi Danny,
Firstly, I would suggest that you join your local Healey Club, and also
advise membership of Austin Healey Club USA (www.healey.org) and Austin Healey
Club
of America (www.healeyclub.org) if you haven't already done so.
For publications, I would recommend the following sources of information to
you. I have found all of these to be indispensable.
Authentic Restoration Guide, Austin-Healey 100 / 100-6 / 3000 by Gary
Anderson and Roger Moment. (ISBN 0-7603-0673.) Lots of accurate pictures
showing "how
it should look." The detail in the text is excellent.
Austin-Healey Concours Registry "Originality Guide for Restorations and
Registry Inspections. Austin-Healey 100, 100-Six, and 3000."
Austin-Healey Tech Talk by Norman Nock (www.BritishCarSpecialists.com).
Mechanical Service Parts List. Reprint of the manual originally issued by
B.M.C. Service Limited.
Austin-Healey Workshop Manual. Reprint of the manual originally issued by
B.M.C. Service Limited.
I hope this sets you in the right direction.
