I9m in the middle of replacing the brake shoes on my BN1 and have used a local firm to install linings on a set of shoes. The problem is in assembly, because the linings seem to be too thick. Can anyone tell me the proper lining thickness for these shoes? What is the correct depth for the steady pins on the backing plates? I have upgraded to BN4 brakes and that may make a difference. Is there a source for the felt pads that go on the steady pins? Thanks for your help. Bill Lawrence |
