Bob, Not sure what you mean by "late", but, during the roadster period, wasn't that just one of the differences between the standard model (disc wheels - no OD) and the deluxe model (wires and OD)? I'm pretty sure I can recall some sales literature hyping the fact that the deluxes had RS4s (or RS5s) and implying that the others had something less.
