Hi All,

It appears that any original fuel gage sender ground is more accidental
than by design & may or may not be reliable. So why not add an
intentional dedicated ground?

Same at the gage end. If the gage case is not firmly grounded to the
dash, the gage will read lower than normal. Relying on the U strap to
make a good connection through paint on the back of the dash panel is
not particularly reliable. An additional jumper on the gage ground
daisy chain removes all doubt.
