Stator Tube Spring

I didn't get a lot of response to my query for a source of the stator tube
anti-rattle springs (Chinese lantern thingy). I'll give it another try:

 

Does anyone have a source for these? Or. does anyone have a workaround fix?

 

I was thinking of placing 2 or 3 o-rings, equally spaced, along the length
of the tube. Anyone want to comment on the likely effectiveness of this?
