Thanks for the info. I never saw a 'low battery' message, but will
admit this was during a night event. The car has NO lights in it. I
used a flashlight once to verify I was punching the right combination of
buttons to make the system work (I was). I didn't want to annoy the
driver more than that, so I didn't use the flashlight any more. The
'bad' run was my last run, so it is possible I got the 'low battery'
message sometime during that run, and would have never seen it.
I will replace the 9V and see what happens.
Thanks for the explaination. I can understand how things would change
with a change in voltage, but it was my understanging of things
electrical that they usually speed up a little (like electric clocks)
just before the voltage drops off too low for the things to work. I
don't profess to know everything about electrical things, either.
