Personally, I think it's worth the money. You'll confirm graphically what
the seat of your pants is telling you, and then some. It's especially
useful if you have a co-driver so you can compare your runs. "But I'm sure
I didn't lift in the slalom", "But Honey, Geez! says you did"
Having said that, it's hard to see the differences between two good runs.
Obvious mistakes will show up but the differences between two good ones are
hard to find. The maps aren't accurate enough to show the differences in
the two lines. Also, your ratings change slightly as you modify your maps,
so they're not as accurate as I'd hoped either. My wife and I seem to have
a ratings signatures, they don't seem to change much from week to week,
even on different courses.
Much like my driving performance has leveled out, so has my ability to
gather new info from Geez. I need to jump start both. Frankly, I haven't
had time to look at Geez all winter. Byron, are you available for some
software tutoring? :)
