Sorry, Brian,
The G-Cube has to be near-level. If you place it nose down
neither accelerometer is aligned to longitudinal g's, and
hence we'll get no meaningful readings for that. (Instead
you'd get z-pole, or vertical g's as they differ from earth
gravity. Interesting, but not terribly useful.)
Remember the G-Cube should ideally be within 2 degrees of
level, but in no case further than 8 degrees from level.
