I would be surprised if adjustments that are within +-5mph
differ by more than a few nits in ratings. The forward
acceleration component is the only one effected, and that's
not our primary point-getter for most of the run anyway.
But I haven't tested this specifically to see just how big
the change in scores is on a typical run at +-5mph end
speed.
The adjustments to ranges, which are how we adjust
individual turns, are for the picture only...they have no
effect on any of the math.
