I seem to recall that an off the shelf Dorman stud for something like '75 - '77 Mercury Capri is almost an exact replacement for Spit/GT6 wheel studs. I may have the information out in the garage somewhere. I recall I had to use the lathe to taper the boss on the end. It has been quite some time, my memory isn't as good as it used to be.
