Hi Scott,
I=E2=80=99ve run both a welded diff in the #114 (Dads car) and a Quaiffe in=
the #80. =C2=A0On the same track, I find high speed sweeper corner speed i=
s much better with the Quaiffe as the welded diff requires modulating the t=
hrottle to control the forced oversteer, where the quaife car is flat out. =
=C2=A0Last turn at Thompson, the #80 was 11mph faster exiting the corner wi=
th the same driver. =C2=A0 However, on the hairpin, the welded diff was a m=
uch better performer where the quaife required a VERY smooth line and was m=
odulating wheel spin where the welded diff just rotated the car and shot ou=
t of a turn. =C2=A0 I=E2=80=99ve developed a simple questionnaire to help. =
=C2=A0Lap times were the same on both cars.
1. =C2=A0Do you drive like a madman? =C2=A0If yes, run the welded diff2. Ar=
e you a smooth driver? =C2=A0If yes, the quaife rewards smoothness. =C2=A0
LOL
I have not driven a Gripper diff
I hope that helps!

Does anyone have experience with a Gripper diff - or a Quaiffe? =C2=A0I cu=
