It's rare nowadays to find one that doesn't need the weld&grind repair...I=
always make sure that the tensioner is spaced out a bit from the plate, & =
use good quality tensioners ie the plated ones that Greg Solow supplies (ho=
pefully still does cuz I need a couple).

either have a machinist mill the area down flat or
grind it flat and smooth with a die grinder and a

my life and as such have accumulated more than a
bunch-o-parts. But, wouldn't ya know, I don't have a
decent front engine plate in the bunch!So, I need a
front plate that isn't torn up and gouged by the
chain tensioner.Anyone have a good front engine plate
