I agree too hot. I spun a few #2 rod bearings at high temps. I think the ideal
temp is around 200f. I got a nice race prepped stock crank which helped and my
new engine has a bullet crank which has been great. Probably because of the guy
who built it. He is a for guy too. I am not sure if he wants to build more
engines. He can chime in he likes.
