Following on from Brads share, I thought I might add a bit more detail=20
regarding the Autosport mk2 1957 Canada Class/ 1960 Formula Junior race=20
car with her Standard Triumph spit based engine.
The car was built by Autosport Equipment co. ltd in Cooksville Ontario=20
originally as a Canda Class race car in 1957 using a modified Standard=20
10 engine, Lotus 11 gearbox, Triumph Mayflower brakes and rear axle=20
which was cut down to allow Chapman strut rear suspension using the=20
drive shaft as the upper suspension arm. To lower the the center of=20
gravity a chain drive drop box was fabricated to sit on the nose of the=20
diff and lower the prop shaft.
