I run 40 DCOEs on my GT6 with a redline of about 7300, though it could =
go higher.
The chokes are either 28 or 30 - I tried 32s and lost power. This =
engine is usable from 4500-7500. Below that I can=E2=80=99t give it =
full throttle. That=E2=80=99s a function of both cam and carb, but =
I=E2=80=99m with TeriAnn. You can get virtually the same power out of a =
pair of SU=E2=80=99s so I know there=E2=80=99s more carb than is really =
needed.

I don't pretend to be an expert but wouldn't three 45DCOEs be a tad =
large for a GT6 engine? Off hand without knowing your engine it seems =
like three 40DCOEs would do the trick and be more RPM flexible.

The smallest choke that will work optimally in a 45DCOE is a 34 choke. =
While larger chokes are available for 40DCOEs and smaller ones are =
available for 45DCOEs they will not work as well for this application. =
The 42DCOE only had 28, 30, 32 and 34 chokes available.
