Basically the installing is the same as on Gleason, same leash values =
and such stuff.
What is different is the correction of the contact patterns.
Just do the opposite of the workshop manual in this case.

Do you have the setup instructions for the Oerlikon gears?

Chris,
=20
Based purely on speculation, I assume Bastuck gears are Oerlikon. Do you =
know? If yes, do you have the setup instructions for these gear sets?
=20
Thanks

Maybe something to know about Diffs:
=20
On Triumphs, these days are two different types of gear available:
=20
1. Gleason gears
2. Oerlikon gears
=20
The workshop manual is referring to Gleason gear type. If you got an =
Oerlikon type of gear (the more modern one), and you try to set it up =
with the Workshop manual, then the gear will fail.
This is because, that the contact pattern, which is shown in the manual, =
is mirrored at an Oerlikon type.
=20
So most Oerlikons die of wrong contact pattern, with the pinion too deep =
in the Crown wheel, almost touching the carrier.
=20
Cheers
Chris
