FOT,
Good Morning. We are working on one of our race motors and Tony Drews mentions
drilling two addition holes to the rear main bearing cap to help drain out away
from the rear main seal. It is referenced in the engine building notes that he
has been really kind in sharing with all of us. Does anyone pictures of a rear
main cap that has been modified this way? If so, would you be willing to share
them? I was hoping to see the exact positioning of both ends of the holes on a
cap that has been known to work well.
Thank you,
Paul Ricco
PS. The SVRA Road America Spring Vintage Festival is getting close. We had a
great time there the last couple years and we hope there are at least a few
Triumphs there with us.
