To correct the obvious; We were running close to 3 minute laps without pushing.
We will have a j-type overdrive next time out, and a diff cooler.
I hesitate to mention this but the diff we were running, a 3.7 welded version,
came on the TR6 I bought from Sam. Who knows how many races it has under its
belt. It might have come with the car from Mark Gerdes for all I know. It could
have just been its time to go. We should carry a spare to the track, but had we
I doubt we would have swapped it with two hours to go. Maybe to take the
checker, but not much else.
