I'm told by a GT-L 3x SCCA Ntl Champion that using exhaust vacuum to vent
the sump (assuming that's what you want to do) was "outlawed" because it was
seen as a possible enhancement for intake performance. Probably the smoke
out the back was an issue also.
I seem to remember a friend back in the 80s that did this, purely to get rid
of the oil out the breather. He had to remodel that idea.
I bcc'd a comp board friend, perhaps he'll comment back.

Subject: [Fot] Vacuum System and SCCA
I called the tech department at SCCA national headquarters and asked for an
explanation, the reasoning behind their prohibition of an exhaust system
vacuum system and the response I got was something along the lines of " I
don't know. That rule has been around longer than I have been here. You'll
have to write a letter to the CRB (club racing board) and ask them".
So,
that's what I did. No answer yet, but I have gotten what looks like an
automatically generated email that has a tracking number for my question.
When I checked a couple hours ago , the status was listed as "awaiting
review by committee, before being referred to CRB"
Hmmm., this may take a while.
I'll keep you posted.
