I wonder if one of the others was Mike Belfer (or Tom Belfer, or Mike
Cataldo, who often CO-drove Belfer's TR3).
In the early 1980s, I used to flat tow Ole Blue. I had a very short,
custom made tow bar set up, and it did not track very well at all. At the time
I
was using an Oldsmobile Fierenza (sp?) as the tow vehicle. Don't know if
you remember them, but they were a pretty lightweight compact car. Well, I
was towing coming back to Brookfield from Blackhawk on I-43. I tried to exit
at Hwy. 164 and the TR3 pushed me past the exit. On that day I decided
that MASS was an important issue when selecting a tow vehicle.
