Hardy used the rear tranny mount of a TR3 bolted to the E-TYPE unibody to
spread the loading and support the hitch for flat towing his TR3 race car.
While in his garage, he pointed at it and asked me if I knew what that was.
I thought it was great. But my purist friend, Hugh Patterson, thought it was
travesty.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is how in the heck are you going to
ount the hitch on the GT6? There's not much structure in the back 2 ft of
he car and I'm not sure how to run anything substantial up to the frame.
y Subaru Forester is rated to tow 2400 lbs with a class 3 receiver hitch
olted to the frame. Based on that, I'd put a safe max on the GT6 of less
han 1000 lbs.
