Hi, I use the Kirkey Intermediate road racing seat that I got from Jeg's
high performance in Columbus, Ohio. It came in different widths also ( I
know what you mean Tony!).
Price was reasonable even after buying the seat cover. I'm pleased with it
and it does accomodate the HANS. It's made of aluminum so is easy to work
with as far as modifying, if needed.
