Wes:
One thing to consider when buying a seat is some high-back seats are not
compatible with neck restraint systems, ie, HANS. I bought a Kirkey bucket
seat with snap on cover for around $300 which fit nicely in my TR4 without
modification and it's quite comfortable with good side support. I chose
this low-back style since I use a HANS device.

Australian rules allow us to fit newer style racing seats; technically I
believe there is a specified list of 3acceptable2 seats but in reality we
can get away with something as long as it is not too far 3out of character2
(i.e. no great big
wings9 etc.). I9m still using a very tired original seat
and it9s time for a change. Trouble is finding something suitable that fits
the rather narrow space available. Not everything is easily available in
Australia but I9d be interested in knowing what everyone is using.
