As far as oil pressure goes, 10 pounds per 1000 RPM hot is kind of the
gold standard. sounds like you've got that.
Roller and Ball bearings either fail right away or last a good while.
no guess as to why yours failed, but it did. Replace it and all the
other bearings in the diff (because they are now junk too), clean
everything to a scrupulous degree and go on.
Onward and upward. Race cars always have a punch list. they shrink and
swell but never disappear. Welcome to the fraternity of people that
mess with cars. It's a fine bunch, and it sounds like you've been
genetically programmed to be part of it. Your family has my deepest
sympathies, and ain't it fun.
