I tried to contact the guy that did the ceramic lifters - phone
disconnected. We might as well quit talking about them.

We had a major player in the drag race world here in Vegas supplying ceramic
lifters. He went out of business and the ceramic issue is purported to be
to blame.
Apparently the US military is buying every bit of the base stock so there's
nothing left for the civilian market. That's the story anyway...
