Dave, I have run a welded dif on my TR3 for 14 years (and my Devin TR3).
Works great, fun to drive, just a little hard pushing around in the paddock or
garage.

Ok, I'm new to TRs so tell me if this just isn't done with them. On all my
racing Sprites/Midgets I just weld up the spider gears to lock the rear so
both wheels are driving. Can this be done with the TRs as an alternative to a
Detroit Locker or limited slip? Any experience with the pros/cons on this to
share with a TR newbie?

Hi,
This brings up a reasonable question - has anyone every considered or
looked into having a run of Detroit Lockers for big TR's made?
I know they don't last forever and they're getting pretty scarce.
Just curious.
