I always heard that on the six cylinder engines, because the filter sits
sideways on the block, they tend to drain when the engine is off, and the
first critical moments of start up the oil is "filling" the filter back up
and not going to the bearings. I assumed that the spin on adapter solved
this problem by angling the filter down. True or false?
