I didn't mean to say there were lots of the Kas unit around but that there
were lots of the Lucas control around and it could be easily modified to fit
the TR6. Many cars use the Lucas PI metering unit and the parts are all very
similar.
Of course the cam would have to be shaped to fit the TR6 performance and this
would change from car to car, i.e. Chuck Arnold might be running with a 12.5 :
1 CR with an aggressive cam and I might have a 10.5 : 1 CR with a milder cam.
The main thing is to acquire the control for the MU and start experimenting
with it,
Sorry if I offended anyone my saying there is another out there.

I had one time contacted the person who owns some of Kas' original PI
parts
and tried to find a way to make a copy of it and wasn't very successful
at
getting it done. Another member, Chuck Arnold had told me he had one but
I'm not sure where he got it. I believe the metering unit control is
available off many of the Lucas metering units. Trying to locate one may
be
difficult. If you find a solution please let me know as I would also
like
to change mine from vacuum to linkage controlled PI
