I have made buttons that come out to the piston edge. They will contact the bore as the gudgeon pin moves (which it does under load). I'm happy to hear from others who might make them differently. The thermal properties of the various plastics need to be considered. I used a special super high temp stuff last time. I'll try to find its trade name in my files. Terry |
