Gees, I've opened up a long thread here. Buttons are not hard to make, mush as Kas suggests. I run a machine shop and do them , but they are time consuming and that has to be added to a customers job. In bulk, on an NC machine, they should cost pennies. At A$70/hr for labour, they cost heaps when done by hand. I've made them a "loose press" fit in the gudgeon pin. Terry |
