True, but sometimes street engines don't get overhauled the instant wear is
detectable (in the form of increased blowby). And IMO the factory PCV system on
some Triumphs was inadequate to prevent positive pressure in the crankcase under
sustained WOT operation even on a 'fresh' engine, let alone one with 50,000
miles on it.
