Leon: Have you also considered that by sealing up your vent there is
the potential problem of building up crankcase pressure which will
lead to blowing oil past the seals. Your problem is usually caused by
excessive blow-by, and most of us can appreciate not wanting to
teardown a perfectly good motor just for that, but consider installing
a PCV valve between the rocker cover pipe and the intake manifold. The
flat factory model works just fine, and will give enough vacuum to
keep the crankcase pressure down while recirculating those smelly
