John;
I don't know all the details, but a lot of the SCCA TR6 racers used
Corvair hubs and Datsun half shafts. I have a set of Datsun half shafts
in my TR6 and they got rid of the TR6 "twitch". The splines don't lock
up under pressure so the suspension still works.

Subject: Uprated TR6 Rear Axle & Hubs
Amici:
I tried searching the Archives first, but I couldn't find the answer to
my
question. Maybe I didn't search right. Anyway:
Are the stock TR6 rear axle and hubs reliable for street use in a car
that
has a slightly more powerful than stock engine?
If not, does someone make an uprated TR6 rear axle and hub for this
purpose?
Thanks,
John Herrera
