I have had the same experience with DUNLOPS as well, but I continue to use
them anyway. They look so damn'd BRITISH. Two years ago I won a set of
HOOSIERS in a USRRC race. I could never get them to 'seat' on my original
ARW Silverstones, so I mounted them on the THUNDER BOLT's PANASPORTS. I only
ran them two or three times. They were much stickier, and hence MUCH faster.
I traded them to DON BRICK for a pair of used DUNLOPS. BRICK loves the
HOOSIERS, and now catches and passes me (in a milder prepared car). Of
course, he's a better driver.
