As I recall from over a decade ago, what I did with the Rust Rocket was
bolt on a TR6 front radiator guard.  This extends out several inches more
than the basic angle iron TR4 piece, which gives you some place to put the
sway bar brackets.  And it has holes for mounting an oil cooler too.  I seem
to remember I had to do some work to the bumper brackets, though that may
have been the result of previous front end damage to the TR4.
