Jason:
The head gasket changed at KF10001 (8/71)
See if the block number is still visible, that should give you a clue. The
important thing though, is if the recess is not there, you will need the
Mk2-early Mk3 gasket.
The correct gasket would be AE # AG900, or Head Set #CG902
